Minority Law Students

About Me

I do not want to talk about what you understand about this world. I want to know what you will do about it. I do not want to know what you hope. I want to know what you will work for. I do not want your sympathy for the needs of humanity. I want your muscle.
--Robert Fulghum

I am a female minority student. I was born and grew up in the Caribbean, so I am also an international student.

I have worked hard all my life, that is nothing new to me. Being a minority, and female in the US however, was a little more than culture shock.

There have been times when I have felt invisible in this world, but I decided I would not give up on my dreams to make a difference. I do not want those coming after me to experience all the hardships that I have gone through unnecessarily. I decided that being part of the body of elite people who make the rules that affect the world was a great place to start to make some changes.
